Custom Silhouette
5” x 7” watercolor custom silhouette
After checkout, please email us (eliza@elizapriceart.com) photos of your little one to use as a reference along with their full name! During the checkout process you will be able to choose which color you would like your silhouette painted and if you would like their name & year lettered on the front (along the bust) or on the back (won’t be visible when framed).
Silhouette commissions are completed by my mom, and favorite artist, Jackie Price and sold through elizapriceart.com. She first taught me about the art of capturing silhouettes when she painted my own over 15 years ago. I’m so excited to be working alongside her now to capture silhouettes that will be cherished for years!
Tips for taking a wonderful reference photo:
Please send me a side profile picture of your loved one (elizacprice@gmail.com). This picture should be taken at eye level, about 3 feet away, with the individual not smiling. Include all of their face and hair. Girl’s silhouettes look especially graceful if their hair is pulled up away from their neck in a bun or ponytail etc. and boys looks sweet with a collared shirt on! Feel free to send me multiple and I can see what works. let me know if you have any questions!
P.S. an easy way to capture their relaxed expression and facial features is to snap a pic from the side as they watch T.V.

No returns or exchanges
Color may vary slightly from the example photo since the watercolor paint is mixed by hand for each commission
Although it may be hard to capture a photo of a squirming little one, the better the reference photo the easier we are able to capture their true facial structure and sweet personality!
